Coming in July the all New HelpBox v6 Web Based Service Desk

To celebrate the release of the all new HelpBox v6, we have renamed it to Layton ServiceDesk. The name change is to reflect the products new features and functionality. We have also designed a new logo.

Layton ServiceDesk is a major upgrade and a compete rewrite of the existing product. We will post an official release date soon.

AuditWizard Network Inventory Software 8.1.6 - Development

AuditWizard 8.1.6 is currently in development.

The next update to our leading software inventory software, brings the following enhancements:

  • Major performance with a database restructure and upgrade. This major update will delivery significant performance improvements.
  • Assets can sometimes be duplicated when audited and uploaded via a VPN, this will be resolved.
  • Add the ability for include more than 7 IP address ranges for the network discovery.
  • Other minor improvements and bug fixes.

The next development phase is expected to take approximately 4 weeks to complete with a tentative release date of the 9th of July.

AuditWizard Network Inventory Software 8.1.4 Released

AuditWizard 8.1.4 update available for download.

The latest update to our leading network inventory software adds new functionality and includes general maintenance fixes.

Key new features include:

  • Powerful Search Feature
  • Drillable Overal Compliance Chart on the Dashboard
  • Powerful Bolean and/or Statement for the Compliance Report
  • New Version Notification

Plus other enhancements and general maintenace fixes.

The all new HelpBox web based help desk version 6 development is almost complete. The deadline has slipped slightly as we decided to pack in more functionality that will give you even greater flexibility. HelpBox v6 is currently in phase one beta testing and an announcement will be made soon with a release date which is expect to be just a matter of a few weeks away now.

AuditWizard Network Inventory Software 8.1.3 Released

AuditWizard 8.1.3 network inventory update is now released.

This latest update to our leading network inventory software provides many new enhancements as well as scheduled maintenance fixes. The update is free to all existing customers under support and will be available for download from the customer support area on 25th March, 2010 EST.

All New HelpBox Web Based Service Desk

Get ready, the brand new Service Desk is coming soon.

HelpBox v6 has been completely redeveloped from the ground up and written in the latest ASP.NET language and utilizes many web 2.0 features such as AJAX for a rich user experience. Every module and feature has been carefully designed before being implemented. HelpBox has also been redesigned based on direct customer feedback ensuring the product meets their strictest help desk requirements. From installation to configuration through to operation, the whole application is now easier to use, faster and slicker than ever before. There are fewer clicks and a much more logical layout enabling anyone to become a help desk pro in no time at all.

AuditWizard Network Inventory Development Update

The following list is a summary of the current development that is underway for our leading PC auditing and network inventory solution, AuditWizard.

The list is not a definitive list as we may add or remove items as required but it does highlight what is currently in progress and planned for release soon. Beginning in March is a major development phase for AuditWizard encompassing many aspects of the product. An update of the schedule will be released soon.

HelpBox Help Desk Software Update

2nd February, 2010

HelpBox v6 development has just entered its initial beta testing phase. Our internal support and development team have begun testing and everyone is really excited. The new version looks great and in terms functionally it is so much better. You can't compare the two versions. It is much easier to use and navigate. Setting up incoming and out going emails is a breeze as is connecting HelpBox to external databases such as AuditWizard Network Inventory Software. You will be delighted with HelpBox and its new features.

AuditWizard Network Inventory & HelpBox Help Desk Update

Last development update for 2009.

December 22, 2009.

As our developers wind down for the Christmas break, I thought I would take this opportunity to post our last development update for 2009. In this final development blog update for this year I will cover both our AuditWizard network inventory and our HelpBox web based Help desk software.

AuditWizard Network Inventory Software update is just about complete. The new dashboard and reports upgrade is finished. We're in the testing phase and so far everything had gone just great. There are a few minor tweaks and a bit of polishing to do but other than that it's not far away from being released. We're hoping for a release date around the 15th of January, 2010. Below is a little taster of the graphs that will be available in the next update to the PC Auditing reporting module.

HelpBox Web Based Help Desk Software v6 is also nearing completion. The new designs for the help desk icons are under way and testing will begin early January. The re-design of the menu structure to a new tabulated format has been a success. The new design has not only simplifed the whole products ease of use but significantly reduced the amount of clicks required to perform many help desk functions. The release date is still on track for the first quarter of 2010.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our  AuditWizard PC audit customers and our HelpBox help desk users for their valuable feedback and suggestions. We look forward to delivering you major improvements and innovation next year.
