AuditWizard Network Inventory Development Update

The following list is a summary of the current development that is underway for our leading PC auditing and network inventory solution, AuditWizard.

The list is not a definitive list as we may add or remove items as required but it does highlight what is currently in progress and planned for release soon. Beginning in March is a major development phase for AuditWizard encompassing many aspects of the product. An update of the schedule will be released soon.

Leading on from the recent AuditWizard network inventory 8.1.2 update and currently in development are the follows items:

  • Edit Custom Report
  • Schedule Custom and Compliance reports
  • Improve interface for configuring scheduled reports
  • Improved Aliasing of Applications and Publishers, which also resolves a bug reported with aliasing applications
  • Add Aliasing of Software Publishers
  • Location filter for reports so all reports can be filtered based on their location
  • Filter report results by asset status
  • Export dashboard drill down data to XLS, plus adding drag and drop sorting of the data
  • Drill down from results grid to asset
  • Add Scanner Type to Network View summary
  • Option to hide 'update' news feed item
  • Server Disk Space chart not refreshing bug to be fixed when switching between different servers
  • Processor Speeds Report drill, intermittently not displaying data
  • Add new report - Asset Audit history all changes between audits
  • Edit properties of multiple applications at same time
  • Display count of assets in network view
  • Move To-Do tasks to its own tab and refine its functionality and replace with asset inventory summary charts
  • Other minor bug fixes

The next update is due for release around the first week of March 2010.

Please note that we cannot guarantee every item will be included at time the of release due to the nature of development and time scales. It is not a guaranteed that the above will be included in the next release of AuditWizard inventory software but we do endeavour to do our best to deliver updates on time with as much functionality as possible. Layton Technology reserves the right to add or delete items at our discretion.
